Summit registration is offered on a $0 - $50 sliding scale, with added fees for some of the field trips (which are also on a NOTLAF/No one turned away for lack of funds sliding scale). Please use the coupon codes within this registration to pay on the sliding scale.
Our Summits are places for (re)connecting with and queering rural traditions, building relationships and trust, celebrating & grieving together, and creating a roadmap to move us closer to our collectively liberated and joyful futures. We are excited to host the Spring Summit in Wabanakik/ Maine for LGBTQ+ people living in rural Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
Camping is available on site Saturday night. Transportation stipends are available. Childcare stipends are available for Saturday and on-site childcare will be provided on Sunday. There are questions on the registration form to gather information related to childcare, food needs, camping and more.

You can register for either just the Sunday Summit or for a Saturday Field Trip & Sunday Summit! Sunday is sliding scale $0-50. Field trips have a variety of costs, $0-50. Coupon codes are below. SATURDAY FIELD TRIP DESCRIPTIONS
Intro to Quilting (Saturday May 31, 12:30pm- 4:30pm, $0-$50) - In this 4-hour workshop (with a 30 minute lunch break), students will be introduced to the construction of a small quilt top! We'll begin with learning how to safely use quilling tools and learn a few quick-piecing techniques. Time dependent, students will leave with a completed, or near-complete small quilt top. This workshop is for the total beginner sewist, with or without sewing machine experience. Knowledge of how to thread your machine and make a bobbin is handy, but not required. Limited to 8 participants. More details here.
Forest Identification and Creativity Immersion (Saturday May 31, 2 - 3hrs, $0) - More information coming soon!
Spoon Carving (Saturday May 31, 1pm -5pm hrs, No added cost) - Learn how to carve a wooden spoon alongside other rural LGBTQ+ people using hand tools and enjoy the meditative nature of creating something slowly with your hands! No carving experience is necessary. All carving materials & wood provided. Limited to 10 participants.
Community Safety Series: Empowerment Self Defense and Peacekeeping for Protests (Saturday May 31, 10:00am - 3:30pm, $0 - $50) - Empowerment Self Defense focuses on raising awareness, verbal and physical skills to prevent, interrupt, respond to, and heal from harassment, abuse, and assault.; In Peacekeeping, share and learn tactics and strategies for engaging in resistance and making informed choices around levels of engagement when you are peacekeeping and marshalling at protests and events to make them safer. Orchard Stewarding and Socializing (Saturday May 31, 1:30pm - 4:30pm, $0 - $15)- There are tasks to be done at a semi-secret peach orchard, and a lot to learn, look at, and do together on site. This is a great fit for folks who want to learn more about orcharding, land stewarding, and being in neighborly relationships that support food access and maintaining small food production spaces. Join this field trip for talk, hands-on work in the orchard, and social time in between!
Farm Work Party and Cleanup (Saturday May 31, Time TBD, $0) Support an emerging local land rematriation project to cleanup their new property and support tasks and needs that come up between now and then.
